Another day in London, although today was a social day with a few people I have met on a photography online forum. We had lunch, talked about equipment and the highlight for me was a visit to the ‘National Portrait Gallery’. We had decided to visit the ‘Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize’ gallery and had a great time viewing and talking about the photographs on display. The portrait work on display was varied and covered a number of themes, styles and approaches. I must say though, the winning photograph was not one of my favourites, but that’s why everything is open to interpretation.
