Read an interesting article on ‘Shahidul Alam’. Shahidul was born in Bangladesh in 1955 and his photojournalism career began covering the struggle for democracy in Bangladesh in the 1980’s.I very much like the feeling that the photographs convey a hope in the ability to rebuild after a disaster. Catching that moment and then helping in social change with a particular photograph or collection of photographs must be such a rewarding feeling. I have many of my own customers who are from Bangladesh and I know from their knowledge what some of these people went through.
